Padlockable Cylinder Cover
Designed to provide formidable supplementary protection to round rim locking cylinders, the MICO Padlockable Cylinder provides an extra layer of protection by preventing easy access to the exposed key cylinder.
Utilising a heavy-duty hasp shield, the cover is secured with a padlock, protecting the locking mechanism and key cylinder in a way that makes the Padlockable Cylinder Cover ideal for external doors in remote and harsher environments.
The Padlockable Cylinder Cover has been specially designed for the MICO Rimlock range of round rim locking devices. However, it is also compatible with other round rim cylinder-based locking products.

OPERATION
Padlockable hasp and staple cover, which can be lifted to reveal the round rim cylinder.
Entry Method: Unlocking and removing the padlock, before lifting the hasp to enable access to the round rim cylinder and therefore operation of the existing locking system.
Exit Method: Existing locking system exit functions as normal even when the device is padlocked. For example, operating the internal thumbturn of a MICO Rimlock with fitted Padlockable cover will still retract the latch/deadbolt whether a padlock is fitted or not.
